Where movement feels like coming home.

At Balance Lane, we believe movement should feel good in your body, in your mind, and in your life. This is a space to slow down, reconnect, and build strength from the inside out. Whether you're here to heal, rebuild, or simply feel more like yourself again, you’re invited into a community that meets you exactly where you’re at.

Movement that feels good.

Community that feels like home.

Support at every step.

Movement that feels good. Community that feels like home. Support at every step.

Welcome to my little studio, a space built from equal parts movement, heart, and community.

In the rush of everyday life, it’s easy to put yourself last. Balance Lane grew from my own journey of slowing down, healing, and rediscovering strength through Pilates. Now, I’m here to help you find that same connection, with your breath, your body, and the parts of you that crave balance and calm.

Whether you’re easing pain, recovering post baby, managing anxiety, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more at home in your body, you don’t have to do it alone.

And the best part of all? The people. The community here is full of the sweetest souls, supportive, welcoming, and genuinely kind.

Wherever you’re at, we’ll meet you there.

With love, Alex

Meet your Instructors

Our class styles.

From building strength to finding stillness, our class styles are designed to support your whole wellbeing, mind, body and soul. Each class can be modified for all levels, from beginners to advanced, including pre/postnatal and those managing injuries.

  • Slow, controlled and deeply intentional. This class focuses on precision, alignment and time under tension using smaller, more refined movements. Fewer reps, deeper connection and a powerful burn that builds strength from the inside out.

  • Fast-paced, energising and full-body. Expect higher repetitions, dynamic sequences and that deep muscle burn we all love. Designed to elevate your heart rate, challenge your endurance and leave you feeling strong, sweaty and empowered.

  • A strength-focused Pilates class combining controlled movement with heavier resistance and progressive overload principles. Expect lower reps, slower tempo work and a mix of circuits and repeated sets designed to build full-body strength, stability and confidence.

  • A low impact blend of Pilates and Ballet. Think small, targeted movements, high repetitions and sculpting sequences that build strength and grace, without the strain.

  • Your Pilates FORM class, PLUS a little more support. Where traditional Pilates meets functional movement. Using time-based movement, this class allows more space for setup, technique, individual guidance and movement options throughout the class - without the pressure of having to keep up.

  • A breath led vinyasa practice that encourages fluid, mindful movement. Build strength, mobility and inner balance through intelligently sequenced postures and grounding cues.

  • Slow, soothing and spacious. Release tension, open the body, and soften the mind with calming stretches and breath led movement.

  • Deep relaxation through long, passive poses combined with calming sound healing instruments like singing bowls. A beautiful blend for nervous system reset and restorative mobility.

  • Begin with a flowing vinyasa practice to build heat, then melt into stillness with grounding Yin stretches. The perfect balance of movement and calm.

  • Gentle stretching and long holds supported by props such as bands, blocks and bolsters. Includes rolling and release techniques for easing tension throughout the body.

  • A supportive class for all stages of womanhood, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause and beyond. Gentle, adaptable movement where your littlie’s are always welcome.

Please consult your GP or midwife before beginning a new movement practice during pregnancy, and seek clearance before returning postpartum.
